It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the official website of the Portuguese Society of Implantology and Osseointegration. As president of the Society, I am thrilled to see this website as an invaluable resource for the community dedicated to Implantology.

The specificity of implantology makes us unique and certainly important within the fields of dental medicine and stomatology, both in peer relationships and with patients themselves.

The Portuguese Society of Implantology and Osseointegration strives to be versatile, inclusive, and global. We firmly believe that collaboration and knowledge sharing are essential for the progress of modern implantology.

On behalf of the Board, I invite all colleagues, whether you have extensive or limited experience in implantology, to become members of our society, to share experiences, and to exchange scientific knowledge in the pursuit of clinical excellence!

Together, we can raise the standard of dental implant rehabilitation and transform the lives of our patients.

Dear colleagues,

As one of the founders of SOPIO, it was a great honor for me to be invited to preside at the First SOPIO's Meeting , to be held at the Convento de S. Francisco in Coimbra on May 27, 2017.

Portugal has an enviable number of Colleagues practicing oral implantology at the highest level, many of them already united around SOPIO. In this congress we will share knowledge and news. We will meet old friends and make new ones.
